The guidelines below are for your healing journey. This does not need to be permanent. You may choose to make this permanent, but if you prefer to not make this permanent, then follow the guidelines during your healing journey to support your body in the healing process.
Healthy Tips

- Use only honey, maple syrup, raw sugar, coconut sugar, stevia or fruit sugar (fructose) sparingly for sweetening
- Tomatoes may only be eaten with protein or vegetables
- Melons should be eaten alone
- Avocados are best eaten alone or only with vegetables or starches
- Fruit and vegetables should not be combined in the same meal
- 60 to 80% of foods eaten in a day should consist of fruit and vegetables
- Eat jacket potatoes, whole grains and foods made from unrefined flours
- Only cottage or white cheese should be eaten sparingly and should not be heated at all
- Avoid fried foods — grilling, steaming or baking are best
- Use only cold pressed oils on salads and after cooking
- Fats and proteins best eaten sparingly
- Use salt sparingly — best to use Iodized salt, herb salt (Herbamare), Bragg Liquid Aminos, nutritional yeast, miso, nori (seaweed) or vegetable stock as flavouring and seasoning
- Drink only herb teas, cereal coffees, unsweetened fruit juices
- Avoid drinking with meals — half an hour before or after meals
- Avoid canned foods, pre-packed foods, sauces and spices
- Always read labels before buying — avoid if there are too many items you do not understand or too many E Codes
