With the following attachment: Jesus vs Reiki.pdf

Just the title of the file didn’t sit well with me, so I prepared myself for the worst and I read the pdf… I had to keep reciting JUST FOR TODAY… JUST FOR TODAY… JUST FOR TODAY throughout the pdf file and finally decided to reply to the e-mail… I think I may have come across a little harsh though.

My response was:

You see, the first mistake is that the title of this work is Jesus VS Reiki… There is no versus here, because you cannot separate God from healing work. God is in everything. God is around everything. God is everything. God is the good and the bad, yin and the yang (I’m sure yin and yang is also on you list of “EVILS”). You cannot have the good without the bad. That is why we are living in a world of dualities. You cannot limit God by saying that Reiki is not of Him or not from Him. And you cannot box God in by saying that He does not give us the means to heal. Reiki is just a Japanese word that means “Aura”… It’s scientifically proven that we all have a biomagnetic field around our bodies (aka Aura). Go look up Reiki in any Japanese dictionary… It just means AURA.

Usui Reiki Ryoho simply means Usui’s method of aura healing. A method that he developed and that he taught all over Japan 100 years ago.

Chakra is a Sanskrit word that means wheel and it is used to describe the main energy centres in the human body. If you look at the placement of these chakras you will see that they actually refer to nerve clusters that feed through to the major glands in the body. It is scientifically proven that you have a pituitary gland, a pineal gland, a thyroid gland, a thymus, a gallbladder, a spleen, gonads and adrenal glands. If you look at the spine and how the nerves form around these areas feed out to the glands you’ll notice that there are more nerve endings in these areas… Nerves carry electricity from the brain to the rest of the body… Having lots of electricity in an area will create more energy / vibration in that area… a CHAKRA or a vortex created by a strong electrical current (ok, it’s rather subtle from our limited perspective, but it’s there).

You can’t go around saying that something like CHAKRA or REIKI is from the Devil just because it is a Japanese or Sanskrit word. That’s just silly. If you think about it then anything that is not written in Aramaic, Hebrew or Greek (or English???) is from the Devil. Charming…

The attunement is just a method of passing this specific mental attitude over to a person… It’s like tuning a radio station in. It’s like standing in a room full of people and turning your attention to two people speaking… you are still aware of everyone else talking in the room, but you are focusing on the two people and listening to their conversation. So all we do during an attunement is to help the student to focus on the energy frequency (light) used in the healing modality called Reiki (Japanese word for Aura). If you spend years practicing Qi Gong (which is probably also “EVIL”, because it works with Qi, which is a Chinese word for subtle energy, and not Aramaic, Hebrew, Greek or English) you will be able to do what any Reiki practitioner does without an attunement, BUT it takes time and dedication… I’m sure you can do the same if you spend the next few years praying and meditating (is this also “EVIL”?) and reading the Bible (oh, and work on your people and listening skills)… The bottom line is that whatever technique you use it takes time. The attunement process is a way for teachers to bring the student’s focus and awareness to the energy frequency (light) quickly and efficiently… we’re not planting demons in the aura or calling demons to assist… we just bring the students awareness and focus to the light.

Reiki guides aka angels. Are you telling me that Angels is from the Devil?

And you are saying that a hose pipe is from the Devil? Because a hose pipe is a channel for water from the tap to the plants you are watering… The same way as the Reiki practitioner is a channel for light and unconditional love to flow through him/her to the person receiving Reiki (it should be noted that the recipient of Reiki actually draws the amount of energy he/she needs and the Reiki practitioner is never forcing any energy to flow to the recipient).

What is wrong with doing Reiki on dogs, or even dead dogs? Don’t you pray for the dead? As for assisting a person to die… You want to tell me a priest don’t do the same when he prays for the person on his deathbed? Oh sorry… Wrong God. We’re looking at a jealous God sitting up on a cloud with a long beard and a lightning bolt in his hand. A God that loves us so much that He’ll let us “burn in the fires of hell”, because we heal other people.

I know that the use of Reiki is un-Christian, un-ethical and misleading and condemn its ostensibly bona fide methods of trying to slip into establishments under the guise of being an “alternative health treatment” where the less weary and defenceless can be exploited for Reiki’s long term monetary and membership drives. There is absolute NO scientific proof that Reiki contributes to the “general wellbeing” of a person NOR that it alleviates pain beyond that which is obtainable by known, sound and accepted medical practice. For a Christian, a real child of God, Reiki and its associative concepts and practices are clearly abhorred by God as seditious and intent on usurping His power and knowledge for self. It is nothing more than a continuation of Satan’s ploy from the Garden of Eden and his persistent undermining of the authority of Jesus Christ who is all sufficient.

First of all, many Reiki practitioners don’t charge a lot of money for practicing Reiki. If practicing Reiki is your only bread and butter you are charging for your time, not for Reiki. A plumber charges for his time to fix your geyser. Your hairdresser charges for the time it takes him/her to cut your hair. Are these two examples also un-Christian, because of their monetary drives? Secondly, there is no membership drive, because people don’t need to belong to any group, religion or association to be able to practice Reiki… if they choose to belong to any of the above mentioned then it is their choice.

If you know that Reiki is un-Christian, then don’t spend so much time on it. Here is something for you to ponder… there is no scientific proof that the Bible is the True Word of God. There is no scientific proof that Jesus ever existed… only a book written hundreds of years after He allegedly lived (lucky for you I do believe that Jesus existed, but I’m just playing Devil’s Advocate… seeing that I practice Reiki and according to you I’m going to hell). There is no scientific proof that Satan exists. There is no scientific proof that the Garden of Eden existed… You take all of that on faith. The people who work with Reiki knows that it works and if they didn’t believe that, I can assure you they would not be practicing or teaching it.

So, No thank you Gabriël… I don’t think I can use your information and I would appreciate it if you would not contact me again, unless you would like to come experience a Reiki or Crystal Healing treatment (I’m sorry, are Crystals also “EVIL”?)… Alternatively I can prescribe you some herbs… There is mention of Herbs and Crystals in the Bible, so I guess they are both safe.

Finally, I don’t go around harassing you about your beliefs and I would appreciate it if you would treat me with the same respect.

Many Blessings, Love and Light!
